Dalton won the last time they faced Paulding County and things went their way on Friday too. The Catamounts were the clear victors by a 52-27 margin over the Patriots. The Catamounts pushed the score to 43-17 by the end of the third, a deficit the Patriots cut but never quite recovered from.

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hope Johnson, who posted seven points in addition to 12 rebounds and three steals. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last five games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lillie Harris, who put up six points.

Dalton has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 24 points thus far. As for Paulding County, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Coming up, Dalton will challenge Wheeler at 6:30 p.m. on the 29th. As for Paulding County, they have already played their next game, a 70-47 victory against South Paulding on the 22nd.
