Football Recap: Calabasas Comes Up Short

Calabasas fell victim to Westlake and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Warriors 39-0. While losing is never fun, the Coyotes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 651st, while the Warriors are ranked 44th).

Calabasas' defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Westlake, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Calabasas is set to square off against their familiar foe Agoura at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Westlake will challenge rival Oaks Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
