Peaster waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. Everything went their way against the Comanche Indians as they made off with a 14-1 win. The Greyhounds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by eight runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Selah Salmons, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Abigail Wiley, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Peaster was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .393 or higher in six consecutive games.

Peaster's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-8. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.9 runs over those games. As for Comanche, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7.

Peaster wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-1 victory against Breckenridge on the 17th. Comanche does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
