Peyton came tearing into Friday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the North Fork Miners 61-31. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 22 points or more this season.

North Fork lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was David Audelo, who posted four points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Angel Montes, who scored six points.

Peyton pushed their record up to 14-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.5 points over those games. As for North Fork, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Peyton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 73-41 win against Cedaredge on the 1st. As for North Fork, they have also already played their next game, a 66-54 defeat against Fountain Valley on the 1st.
