Baseball Recap: Elba Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Elba duked it out with Florala on Monday. The Elba Tigers came up short against the Florala Wildcats, falling 22-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now lost five in a row.

Elba saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Powell Bane, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Elba now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Florala, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Coincidentally, Elba and Florala will both be playing Samson the next time they take the field. Florala will host Samson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Elba will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
