Baseball Recap: Fisher Catholic Comes Up Short

Fisher Catholic was the 20-0 winner over Madison Christian when they last played one another back in May of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Irish came up short against the Eagles on Monday, falling 15-2. The Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fisher Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Madison Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fisher Catholic will be taking part in a tournament against Fairfield Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Irish's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Madison Christian, they will take on Millersport in a tournament on Thursday. The Eagles are facing the Lakers at the right time seeing as the Lakers are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
