Appling Christian Academy had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They came out on top against Trinity Christian by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Appling Christian Academy easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-9.

Bella Gray paced Appling Christian Academy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Gray got some help from Brailey Hulett and her eight assists. Gray was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Despite the loss, Trinity Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Sydney Lane had 15 digs and one assist. Lane is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Appling Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Trinity Christian, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Appling Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Brunswick Christian Academy on the 12th. As for Trinity Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Savannah Athletic Association on the 4th.
