Baseball Recap: JAG Takes a Loss

JAG lost against Brewbaker Tech back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The JAG Jaguars lost 16-5 to the Brewbaker Tech Rams. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

JAG saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Osbourne, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Another was Jamori Mallard, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.

JAG's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Brewbaker Tech, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

JAG will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Percy Julian at 5:00 p.m. on February 26th. As for Brewbaker Tech, they have already played their next matchup, a 4-3 loss against Park Crossing on the 15th.
