Softball Recap: South Allegheny Gladiators vs. Southmoreland Scotties        
        
		
            
 South Allegheny lost a close one when they played  last Wednesday but unfortunately for them the  defeat they were handed  on Friday was a bit more commanding. They lost  10-2 to the Southmoreland Scotties. South Allegheny has struggled against Southmoreland recently, as their  game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
  Morgan Mosqueda made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 1-for-3 with a  home run.  Cadence Mcbride was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 South Allegheny's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Southmoreland, the  win for them keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
 South Allegheny will be playing at home against Yough at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Yough's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6  runs per game  this season, so South Allegheny's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Southmoreland, they will head out on the road to  take on  Derry at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
