Football Game Preview: Wyandotte vs. Atchison

On Friday Atchison take on Wyandotte at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close match.

After having lost a blowout in their matchup two weeks ago against Piper, Atchison were happy to find some success last Friday. Atchison steamrollered Harmon 47-8. Senior Sercy Duncan, who rushed for 133 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in Atchison's success.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 35 points the game before, Wyandotte faltered in their contest last Friday. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-37 to Schlagle. Wyandotte were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-31.

Atchison's victory lifted them to 2-2 while Wyandotte's defeat dropped them down to 0-3. The Atchison defense got after the quarterback against Harmon to the tune of ten sacks, so Wyandotte's offensive line better have put in some good practice this past week in preparation for the game.
