Volleyball Recap: Falcon Has No Trouble Against Mitchell

Falcon won the last time they faced Mitchell and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Marauders. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Falcon was: they took every set by at least 17 points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-8, 25-8.

Eva Hamilton had an outrageously good game as she had six digs and six aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Danika Steel, who had 12 digs and three assists.

They weren't the only good servers: Falcon was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in nine consecutive matchups.

Falcon's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Mitchell, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Falcon is set to square off against their familiar foe Sand Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mitchell will take on rival Sierra at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
