Thirty young men will take the floor tonight seeking an NCAA National Championship. Hoisting a championship trophy is a feeling some have never experienced.

But for a few others, that is not the case.

In fact certain Louisville and Michigan players are quite familiar with title celebrations, having won state championships at the high school level.

Let's rewind to the last time these young men were on top of the basketball world...

Louisville's Peyton Siva was a part of the Washington State Championships as a member of the Franklin (Seattle) Quakers, not once but twice. Siva won state championships in his freshman season in the Class 4A division as well as in his senior campaign in the Class 3A division. In the final game of his high school career, Siva contributed 10 points, four assists, and was awarded tournament MVP honors.

Michigan's Trey Burke was a state champion as a sophomore. As a member of a Northland (Columbus, Ohio) team that was anchored by former Ohio State standout and current Boston Celtic Jared Sullinger, Burke notched eight points and four assists while capturing the Ohio Division I State Championship in 2009.

Michigan's Mitch McGary was part of a very talented Brewster Academy (Wolfeboro, N.H.) squad that won the National Prep Championship in 2012. McGary dropped in 12 points in his final stand wearing a high school uniform.

Michigan's Nik Stauskas ended his senior season at St. Mark's (Southborough, Mass.) by hoisting the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council Class AA championship trophy. Stauskas recorded 19 points in the game and was awarded game MVP honors.

Pickerington Central (Pickerington, Ohio) was crowned state champions in 2012, in a game that was highlighted by Michigan's Caris LeVert. He poured in a game-high 20 points, adding four rebounds and four steals while powering the Tigers to victory.
