Basketball Recap: Tuttle Takes a Loss

Tuttle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 59-58 heartbreaker at the hands of the Shawnee Wolves. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 298th, while the Wolves are ranked 124th).

Tuttle's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Shawnee, they pushed their record up to 11-11 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Tuttle won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Clinton at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Shawnee, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Nathan Hale at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
