Volleyball Recap: Green Valley Triumphs

Green Valley saw some tournament action on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Fairfax Stampede. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Gators.

Their offense was headlined by Mua Sagaiga and Taylor Beck, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Jeremiah Nissley and his five assists. He also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Kaikona Miller, racking up two apiece.

Green Valley's win bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Fairfax, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Green Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Canyon View on the 28th. Fairfax has also already played their next game (against Apollo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
