Softball Recap: Trinity Christian Comes Up Short

Trinity Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Austintown-Fitch Falcons, falling 19-1.

Trinity Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josalyn Phillips, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Trinity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Austintown-Fitch, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2.

Coming up, Trinity Christian will venture away from home to square off against Fairmont Senior at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Austintown-Fitch, they have already played their next game, a 16-0 win against Princeton on the 23rd.
