Basketball Recap: Spotsylvania Comes Up Short

Spotsylvania was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 29th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 68-44 to the Eastern View Cyclones. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 413th, while the Cyclones are ranked 49th).

Spotsylvania's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Eastern View, the win was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing King George the next time they take the court. Eastern View will head out to face King George at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Spotsylvania will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
