Volleyball Recap: Our Lady of Lourdes Takes a Loss

Our Lady of Lourdes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mount Academy Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Our Lady of Lourdes' loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Mount Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 35-4-2 record this season.

Our Lady of Lourdes will head out to square off against New Paltz at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mount Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Minisink Valley on the 25th.
