Glenwood Springs is 8-2 against Battle Mountain since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Last Thursday, Glenwood Springs escaped with a win against Summit by the margin of a single free throw, 50-49.

Meanwhile, Battle Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Eagle Valley, falling 68-43. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 251st, while the Devils are ranked 70th).

Glenwood Springs will need focus on slowing down Jackson Wansley, one of several Battle Mountain players who made an impact when they last played. He went 5 for 10 en route to 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Beau Suman, who posted 12 points.

Battle Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Glenwood Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.

Everything came up roses for Glenwood Springs against Battle Mountain in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the squad secured an 85-54 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Glenwood Springs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
