Football Recap: Military Magnet Academy Takes a Loss

Military Magnet Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. John's Islanders. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Islanders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Military Magnet Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for St. John's, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Military Magnet Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Scott's Branch at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, St. John's will square off against rival Branchville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
