Softball Game Preview: Larkin Royals vs. West Aurora Blackhawks

Larkin hasn't had much luck against West Aurora recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Royals will be playing at home against the Blackhawks at 4:30 p.m. Larkin will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.

Larkin took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They put the hurt on Harvest Christian Academy with a sharp 17-3 victory.

Meanwhile, West Aurora didn't have quite enough to beat Plainfield Central on Saturday and fell 3-1. The Blackhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Larkin's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for West Aurora, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.
