Volleyball Recap: Golden Valley Find Success

Golden Valley proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Beyer Patriots, sneaking past 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cougars have posted since September 7, 2024.

Golden Valley found their leader in sophomore Gizzel Jordan, who had eight digs and five aces.

Golden Valley's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Beyer, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Golden Valley is on the road again on Saturday to play Hughson at 10:00 a.m. As for Beyer, they will challenge River Islands at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
