Kai Malloch posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. He was dominant the last time he took on Cleveland on Monday, so they probably should've seen this coming. Malloch also allowed no hits, which is notable because Nathan Hale is 3-1 when he allows at most one hit, but 5-8-1 otherwise.
