Bartlett Yancey lost a heartbreaker the last time they played McMichael, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's contest. The Buccaneers simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Phoenix 48-16. The Buccaneers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

One reason for the win was Bartlett Yancey's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for seven sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Cj Saunders and Tyron Wilson, who racked up 4.5 sacks between them. Wilson is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season. Another thorn in McMichael's side was Anthony Horne Jr, who picked up a sack, made six total tackles (2.0 for loss), and defended one pass in addition to snagging an interception.

The win snapped Bartlett Yancey's losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 2-7 record. As for McMichael, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Coming up, Bartlett Yancey will take on Carver at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for McMichael, they will square off against Reidsville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Phoenix will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least 31 points in their last six matchups.
