Softball Recap: String Theory Has No Trouble Against MAST Charter II

String Theory won against Constitution on Tuesday with 20 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. String Theory put the hurt on the MAST Charter II Voyagers with a sharp 20-5 win. The result was nothing new for String Theory, who have now won seven matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

String Theory got a massive performance out of Danica Divincenzo, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Divincenzo has been hot recently, having also posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. Genesis Mejia-Rodriquez also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

String Theory now has a winning record of 7-6. As for MAST Charter II, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. String Theory will face off against Philadelphia Academy Charter at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. String Theory's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Chargers have averaged an impressive 10.3 runs per game this season. As for MAST Charter II, they will square off against Science Leadership Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
