Football Game Preview: Woodgrove Wolverines vs. Heritage Pride + How To Watch

The Woodgrove Wolverines will venture away from home to square off against the Heritage Pride at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Woodgrove's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Park View, posting a 63-0 win. The matchup marked the Wolverines' most dominant victory of the season.

Woodgrove can attribute much of their success to Colton Dabkowski, who threw for 315 yards and six TDs while completing 85.7% of his passes, and Joey Ridolfi, who gained 144 total yards and two touchdowns. Dabkowski is becoming a predictor of the Wolverines' success: when he posts at least 250 passing yards the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Heritage). They put the hurt on Riverside with a sharp 36-13 win on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pride.

Woodgrove's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Heritage, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Everything came up roses for Woodgrove against Heritage when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as the squad secured a 49-14 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
