Sheridan is 0-5 against Frankton since April of 2021 but things could change on Wednesday. The Blackhawks will face off against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Sheridan will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
On Tuesday, Sheridan was able to grind out a solid victory over Indy Genesis HomeSchool, taking the game 10-6. That's two games straight that the Blackhawks have won by exactly four runs.

Dayne Voege was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Sheridan: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 7-12 otherwise. Jacob Hall was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Frankton made easy work of Cowan on Saturday and carried off a 16-6 win. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.
Brady Carmack made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-5 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
In other batting news, Brayden Peters was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI and two runs. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jarrett Morris, who went 3-for-5 with three runs and two RBI.
Frankton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .605. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Frankton's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Sheridan, their win bumped their record up to 10-13.
Sheridan might still be hurting after the 18-5 defeat they got from Frankton when the teams last played back in April. Can the Blackhawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
