Freedom benefitted from Stanton in 24-0 win
Taylor Stanton produced her most outstanding game to date while leading Freedom to the win on Tuesday. Pittsburg had no answer to Stanton as she went 3-for-3 with a home run, four RBI, and two runs.
Stanton's strong effort led Freedom over Pittsburg and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Freedom is 10-0 against Pittsburg going back to March of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
