Newark put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Grace Christian Academy Crusaders by a score of 2-0. The Norsemen have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Crusaders, too.

Newark's offense was headlined by Heather Buhle and Rylie Carlson, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Ella Bromeland and her 11 assists. Morgan Hergenhahn and Zoey Carlson kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Newark's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Grace Christian Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Newark will challenge Sherrard at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Grace Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Momence at 6:30 p.m.
