Softball Recap: Make It Two in a Row for Ramsey

Ramsey hadn't done well against Mulberry Grove recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Rams never let the Aces get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-0 back in April.

The victory made it two in a row for Ramsey and bumps their season record up to 5-10. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Mulberry Grove, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Coincidentally, Ramsey and Mulberry Grove will both be playing Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City the next time they take the field. The Rams will head out to face the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Aces will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
