Basketball Recap: Edison Takes a Loss

After flying high against First Baptist Academy last Friday, Edison came back down to earth. The contest between the Edison Red Raiders and the Hialeah Thoroughbreds didn't end well, with the Edison Red Raiders falling 50-32.

Krisha Rinville was her usual excellent self, putting up 23 points for Hialeah. Miracle Washington was another key player, scoring 12 points.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Hialeah, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edison will challenge Immaculata-La Salle at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hialeah, they will take on Norland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
