Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Penn Manor). They blew past the J.P. McCaskey Red Tornado, posting a 48-0 victory. The Comets haven't had any issues with the Red Tornado recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Randy Guthrie continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 199 yards and four scores while picking up 11.7 yards per carry, and also picking up 39 receiving yards and one touchdown. He is becoming a predictor of Penn Manor's success: when he posts at least 100 rushing yards the team is undefeated (and 0-7 when he doesn't). Connor Smeigh was another key player, throwing for 175 yards and three TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Penn Manor was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 215 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Penn Manor's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Jalen Dupree, Justin Onderdonk, and Jamayden Rosario, who each picked up one sack apiece.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-7. As for J.P. McCaskey, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.
