Sumner came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Vidalia Vikings 14-1. That's more bragging rights for the Cowboys, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Sumner's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Vidalia, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
