The Crestwood Red Devils had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 37-20 win over Wickliffe. That's another feather in the cap for Crestwood, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Crestwood's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lilly O'Bryant led the charge by scoring six points along with ten rebounds and four steals. That's the first time this season that O'Bryant pulled down eight or more rebounds. Hannah Ward was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Crestwood pushed their record up to 5-3 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Wickliffe, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.
Crestwood will head out on the road to face off against Springfield at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wickliffe will be home for the holidays to greet Brooklyn at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Brooklyn is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
