Football Recap: McDonald County Comes Up Short

McDonald County lost against Seneca back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs received a blow as they fell 35-20 to the Indians. The matchup marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

McDonald County has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Seneca, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

McDonald County and Seneca should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. The Mustangs will square off against Central at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday with a big rank advantage (29 vs. 290). Meanwhile, Seneca (ranked sixth) will meet East Newton (ranked 159th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
