Softball Recap: Leto Takes a Loss

Leto lost against Robinson back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Leto came up short against Robinson, falling 18-2. The Falcons just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Leto saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isabella Lugo, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Lugo also hit a double, marking her first of the season.

Leto's record now sits at 3-7. As for Robinson, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-7 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Leto will head out to square off against Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Leto's pitchers better be ready for this one: Jefferson has averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season. As for Robinson, they will venture away from home to take on Blake at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
