Preview: Northside Indians vs. Munday Moguls
Northside is 0-10 against Munday since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Northside Indians will be playing at home against the Munday Moguls at 7:30 p.m. Northside is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home.
Northside suffered their biggest loss since December 7, 2023 on Friday. They suffered a rough 74-54 defeat at the hands of Harrold.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Munday's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. The game between Munday and Electra wasn't particularly close, with Munday falling 58-43.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Talan Collins, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Lj Garcia was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals.
Northside's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Munday, their defeat ended a 16-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-9.
Northside suffered a grim 67-43 defeat to Munday when the teams last played on January 2nd. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Collins, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds. Now that Northside knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
