While Beaver's victory against Gunnison Valley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Beavers won by a run and slipped past the Bulldogs 7-6. The Beavers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Tyge Blomquist tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Brandon Benson was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Sam Smith, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one RBI.

Beaver's record is now 19-2. As for Gunnison Valley, they moved to 16-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Beaver has already played their next contest, a 13-2 victory against Emery on the 23rd. As for Gunnison Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-2 win against North Sevier on the 24th.
