Softball Recap: Butler Find Success

The Butler Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the West Milford Highlanders on Tuesday.

Butler's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-6. As for West Milford, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Butler will square off against Wayne Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Milford, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Nutley at 4:15 p.m. The Raiders' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Highlanders' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
