Long Beach Poly won the last time they faced Lakewood and things went their way on Thursday too. The Jackrabbits put the hurt on the Lancers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jackrabbits.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18, 25-13.

Long Beach Poly's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 30-8. As for Lakewood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.

Long Beach Poly and Lakewood will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Jackrabbits see the court they'll take on Cabrillo at 5:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Lakewood, their break will end when they face Jordan at 5:30 p.m. on the 21st.
