Powers Catholic typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Grand Blanc proved too difficult a challenge. They skirted past the Powers Catholic Chargers 71-69. The win was familiar territory for the Bobcats who have now won five contests in a row.

Powers Catholic's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Javontae Ross, who went 9 of 18 en route to 24 points in addition to seven assists and six rebounds, and Dempsey Cull, who went 6 for 11 from beyond the arc on his way to 23 points and eight boards. That was a full 34.8% of Powers Catholic's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Breckin Cicalo, who earned seven points.
