Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Riley Kriebel and Lillian Hayden Lead Union to Victory

Union's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the East Forest Bears.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-7, 25-15.

Leading Union to victory were Lillian Hayden and Riley Kriebel. Hayden had 20 digs, six kills, and four aces, while Kriebel had 17 assists and 13 digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Haley Corle, who had three aces and one assist.

Union's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-2.

Coincidentally, Union and East Forest will both be playing Allegheny-Clarion Valley the next time they take the court. The Bears will host the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Knights/Damsels will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
