Cuba came tearing into Friday's match with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the North Callaway Thunderbirds. The Wildcats were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Thunderbirds, so the Wildcats were just returning the favor.

Cuba's offense was headlined by Emma Harris and Jaylen Haffer, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Brooke Echols and her ten assists. Justice Evrard controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Cuba's win bumped their record up to 13-7-1. As for North Callaway, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9-2.

Cuba wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Steelville on the 11th. As for North Callaway, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Dixon on the 10th.
