Recap: Lumpkin County Indians vs. Chattahoochee Cougars
The Lumpkin County Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 66-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Chattahoochee. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Chattahoochee found their leader in underclassman Brooklinne Dorr, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for her. Riley Berninger was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Lumpkin County has fallen quite a ways from their 26-5 record last season and are now at 3-8. As for Chattahoochee, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-2.
