Meanwhile, Falls Lake came tearing into Tuesday's contest with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 8-1 victory. With Falls Lake ahead 3-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

They hit South Granville with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Devin Blalock (4), Colton Shedd (2), and Lawson Boyles (2).

Falls Lake's win bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Excelsior Classical Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 18-0.

Excelsior Classical Academy beat Falls Lake by a goal in their previous matchup back in September, winning 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Flying Lions since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
