Volleyball Recap: Oconomowoc Raccoons vs. Milton Red Hawks
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Oconomowoc had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Milton Red Hawks as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raccoons.
Oconomowoc never let Milton on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14, 25-22.
Marlee Sivak paced Oconomowoc's offense, picking up 15 kills. Sivak got some help from
Elizabeth Kwiatkowski and her 36 assists.
Oconomowoc has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 30-9 record this season. As for Milton, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 23-13.
Oconomowoc will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Mukwonago. Mukwonago will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Oconomowoc surely won't give up without a fight. Milton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
