Soccer Recap: St. Albans Comes Up Short

St. Albans entered their contest against Jackson-Reed on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0. St. Albans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Jackson-Reed apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

St. Albans' loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Jackson-Reed, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

St. Albans didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-2 draw against St. Stephen's & St. Agnes on the 24th. As for Jackson-Reed, they have also already played their next match, a 1-0 win against Coolidge on the 24th.
