Basketball Recap: San Marcos HomeSchool Find Success

San Marcos HomeSchool's tournament run continued when they took on Aspire HomeSchool on Friday. The San Marcos HomeSchool Panthers escaped with a win against the Aspire HomeSchool Trailblazers by the margin of a single free throw, 61-60. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Panthers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 1068th in Texas, while the Trailblazers are ranked 241st in Oklahoma).

The win made it two in a row for San Marcos HomeSchool and bumps their season record up to 18-23. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points over those games. As for Aspire HomeSchool, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-13.

As of now, neither San Marcos HomeSchool nor Aspire HomeSchool have any future games scheduled.
