Softball Recap: Eagle's View Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Eagle's View had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Westside Wolverines with a sharp 20-3 win. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolverines, too.

The team relied heavily on Emilie Christie, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Savana-June Clifton, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

Eagle's View was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .500 or higher in three consecutive contests.

Eagle's View picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 3-13. As for Westside, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Eagle's View will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wolverines: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
