Kwigillingok's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 50-40 victory over the Kuinerrarmiut Elitnaurviat Seahawks. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 52-46 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kwigillingok to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jasmine Andrew, who posted 18 points. Kennice Anaver was another key player, putting up 15 points.

When it comes to explaining why Kuinerrarmiut Elitnaurviat lost, don't look at Rehana Matthew. Despite the final result, she scored 18 points. Matthew continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Kuinerrarmiut Elitnaurviat, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
