Softball Game Preview: Ulysses Tigers vs. Colby Eagles

Ulysses is 2-8 against Colby since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Tigers will host the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Ulysses came up short against Spearville and fell 10-7. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Colby challenged Cimarron on Tuesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Bluejays by a score of 4-3. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Bluejays: they've now lost six in a row.

Jalyssa Sabatka was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Ulysses' defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Colby, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.
